About A Shot in the Dark

For any one who might be interested in knowing a little about me, my name is Dian Blais. I started A Shot In The Dark for a couple of reasons. I live on a small ranch in Wyoming along with my husband, two young sons and a menagerie of animals. I am a also an avid gardener. In this neck of the woods it can be very challenging to make a lively hood. We do a variety of different things in the hopes of making ends meet. We raise a little bit of live stock, I sell eggs and veggies at the farmers markets, I dabble in photography and I invent and manufacture various items.

Most of my ideas arise from my lifestyle, therefore they have something to do with gardening, animals or the outdoors. They are designed to make life a little easier. They work for me and so I wanted to share them with others.

I am very focused on making my products reasonably priced and quality made. I can’t tell you how many times I have bought something that is nothing but junk, it's a disgrace! I don't ever want someone to buy one of my product and say “gee, this is nothing but a piece of crap!” I don’t care if I am the last person on earth that feels like this, I will not change!
